The Setup

So, yes, we decided like many other optimistic fools before us to remodel our kitchen. Instead of adding on to the house to make the kitchen bigger, we decided to re-work the space we have. The mantra is "Its going to look great when its done," (and it really is). As a point of reference, here are a few "before" photos of the old kitchen:
